Creating a Logon Banner

If you want to create a Logon Banner: A message box to appear below your logon on. 

1. Open RegEdit For Windows XP, 2003, Vista - 

2. Open following path 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

3.Create a new String value "LegalNoticeCaption"

4.Enter the Title of the window. What is displayed in the Title Bar.

5. Create a new string value "LegalNoticeText"

6. Enter the text for your messagebox that will appear even before the Logon window.
